The 2018 Season Begins

Fallen tree at Beals Preserve, a result of the recent wind and snow storms. While it’s a sad loss for the Preserve, it is also a natural result of winter storms.

In two days, I lead the first artist walk for those interested in submitting work and answer questions that artists have about creating site specific work for the 2018 installation of Art on the Trails.

I wanted to make sure the trails are passable so today I took to the trails. The good news is they are. Of course, there is snow on the trail, and a solid pair of hiking boots are a good idea. I might even suggest bringing traction cleats such as Yak Tracks, but otherwise, no special equipment is necessary.

The two tours scheduled are:

Sunday, March 18, 3 pm
Wednesday, March 21, 5:30 pm

Meeting place is at the end of Red Gate Lane (use 22 Red Gate Lane, Southborough in your GPS). Please RSVP to cweber@artonthetrails.com to make sure I know you are coming.

See you there.

Catherine
