Jean Mineo is honored to be affiliated with the 2018 Art on the Trails project and brings expertise gained in both contemporary galleries and non-profit organizations. As a consultant, Mineo works with municipalities and private organizations to bring art to public places through temporary exhibitions and permanent installations in greater Boston. Recently, she was Director of the Boston Sculptors Gallery managing 36 sculptors in 14 solo exhibitions annually. Mineo also ran the Jamaica Plain Open Studios for three years coordinating 220 artists at 70 sites. Prior to this, she oversaw more than 30 exhibitions of contemporary art during her tenure as Executive Director of the New Art Center in Newton. Mineo holds a B.F.A from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.A. in Arts Administration from American University.
