And the Winner Is…

We are pleased to announce that Juror Hilary Zelson has chosen the first prize winner in the 2020 Art on the Trails. Congratulations to Kelly Goff for being selected as the first prize winner for his sculptures Continuous Line I (tangerine) and Continuous Line II (aquamarine) in this year’s show.

Hilary Zelson remarked, “It was a very difficult decision to select a first prize as there were many impactful artworks as part of the Art on the Trails 2020. After careful consideration, I have selected Kelly Goff’s artworks Continuous Line I (tangerine) and Continuous Line II (aquamarine) for first prize. The eye catching sculptures mimic the scale of its surroundings. Thematically, the transition from recycled steel pipe to polished artwork reflects the cycle of change and growth. Additionally, the metal bundles highlight the chaos radiating through our lives, sometimes Rising Up just enough to keep things in control.
