2. 9th Letter of the Alphabet Portraits

Image 2 of 13

Denise Johnson and students of Margaret A. Neary Elementary School | balsa wood, acrylic paint, string, & beads | NFS | Neary School presents a play on words: the letter i is the ninth letter in the alphabet and our self-portraits focused on the eyes of the fourth and fifth grade artists (276 students, that’s a lot of peepers!). Each student added art on the back of the wooden blocks inspired by the number 9. Their creativity has their Art teacher on Cloud Nine! This is the seventh year that the students of this local elementary school have participated in Art on the Trails.
