Trish Dehls | Mild steel, vitreous enamel, copper | $2,500 Inquiries: artonthetrails@gmail.com | Nine large micro-welded black birds fly in an open space, in front of hung red fabric panels. Each bird carries a hidden message within. Black birds have been an integral aspect of many cultures and belief systems. Ravens, crows all carry a complex variety of symbolism and meanings. Transformation, wisdom, change are powerful connective themes. The celtic tradition connects a flock of nine ravens with keeping secrets. The color red symbolizes the connection to divine protection and redemption.
