Hand-cut from recycled aluminum cans, these 22 kinetic “sunflower” forms transform common litter into instruments of mindfulness, rendering invisible wind currents visible. Each piece hangs from galvanized wire and monofilament, balanced by stone counterweights wrapped in handmade felt. Embroidered red thread motifs bridge the industrial aluminum with the organic earth. By repurposing materials that persist for centuries in the landscape, the work invites visitors to observe the passage of time, the changing light, and the rhythmic dialogue between human objects and the natural environment.
