Shana Dumont Garr is the Curator at Fruitlands Museum, part of The Trustees of Reservations, where she has organized exhibitions including Literary Soil: Greg Lookerse, and Inhabiting Folk Portraits, and an outdoor sculpture by Alexi Antoniadis. She is bringing site-specific projects by Esther Solondz, Wilhelm Neusser, and Kirstin Lamb to the Museum in 2019. Her previous positions include the Director of Programs and Exhibitions at Artspace in Raleigh, NC, where she curated several contemporary art exhibitions including Redefining Ritual, Assistant to the Director at the Ackland Art Museum, Chapel Hill, NC, and Assistant Curator, Assistant Director at Montserrat College of Art Galleries, Beverly, MA. Garr earned a M.A. in Art History from Boston University and a B.A. in English and Art from Colby College in Waterville, ME.
