The mirror represents the way we imagine others see us. It points to the interplay between our inner and outer worlds and the ways they inform and shape each other. The mirror is also intended to enact the viewer’s role in the piece. How will the viewer interact with this exposed figure? How do we meet the needs of those we encounter as we walk through our daily lives?
